Something different for Christmas this year.
Sometimes it’s so hard to find the perfect gifts. Do you know I what mean?
It seems like most everyone already has what they need. What can you do that is different and won’t get stuck in a closet? Of course you want something that is useful, or at least something that gets used. It would be even better if it brought some fun. It could be artsy and functional, should be long lasting so your remembered long after it‘s received. Then it would be the perfect gift.
It can be exhausting just trying to think what to get. Yeah, I’ve been there too!
One day it was like …Eureka!
I found the perfect non-traditional type of gifts – and in copper yet! It was actually a few years ago. I gave them to my family as Christmas gifts and they went over big. In the spring I received more compliments on the same gifts as they were able to enjoy them in use. I gave them similar gifts the year after and now they look forward to getting new pieces each year. I started sharing my then “secret source” with everyone and have to confess it became an online business for me helping to market these great locally crafted copper gifts. It’s Kind’a cool! Give them a look, they might be the unexpected perfect gift from you too.
So you want to know what they are? O.k., I’ll talk.
They are really cool hand crafted decorative copper sprinklers and fountains. All very high quality you can feel as soon as you pick one up. Absolutely wonderful and so enjoyable.
I like copper because it is an ornamental metal with character. Especially outdoor copper ornaments for the yard and garden, like the decorative sprinklers and fountains. They have a unique character all their own. In fact they will gain more character as time passes. A desirable and artistic trait of copper is the way it patina’s (surface oxidation) over time as it is exposed to the elements. Natural (uncoated) copper changes color and will gain a natural beauty all it’s own.
Then there is the sheer pleasure of seeing the water dancing from the sprinklers and listening to the sound of the water trickling down from the fountain pieces. Yeah, I got some for myself too – smile! If you want compliments on your great gifts, these should do the trick.
I hope my tip for “something different” helps you out this year. Feel free to share this idea with your friends who are having a difficult time gift shopping too. Many awesome blessings to you and have a Very Merry Christmas! Yours truly, Thomas
